Stream Summary

• First stream back from a small vacation for TwitchCon EU 2023 and Paris! Was going to wait until Monday do the first stream back as my I’m dealing with a pretty bad eczema flareup on my face (blaming the Paris city air) but didn’t want to go another week without streaming sooo scuffed stream here we go!
• Forgot that Windows update means that my audio settings are bork and needed to restart Windows to fix them, boo.
• Did a little catch up on TwitchCon as I wanted to do a proper show-and-tell on Monday.
• Remembering a valued koimmunity member, BraveCobra, who lost his battle to lung cancer last week. Despite his short time with our community, he made a huge impact on my coding journey and Koishibot wouldn’t be where it is today without his guidance on application architecture. He will be missed ❤️
• Decided to spend the remaining stream watching a tutorial by Dani Krossing on the basics of HTML/CSS – I’m planning to replace Bootstrap on the website as customization is a PITA and I don’t use a majority of the features in the framework.

• Learned about how Flexboxes work and one step closer to responsive website design! This is the potato version I did while following the tutorial:

Thanks to the suggestion of Robinspi, we sent the koimmunity over to hang out with Samkitkat! She was hosting an interview with AfricaKenya, discussing the importance of web accessibility!
