• Was trying to show chat the mobile hamburger menu on Dan’s site that I finally got working last night but apparently I borked a thing and its not working again 😡
• Still stuck on finding out why the hamburger menu is not working. I thought maybe it was because I didn’t have the get_footer() function since the script is registered in the footer function.php but that didnt seem to fix it (* …oh past Elysia if ONLY YOU KNEW)
• After many different solutions, we finally figured out that for whatever reason WordPress couldn’t find the javascript file despite changing NOTHING. It may have something to do with the space characters in the folder name that suddenly it didn’t like but I reuploaded the theme with a new an improved folder name and then suddenly worked. Fantastic.
• Just kidding, I forgot to delete a line of code that was loading the javascript directly in the page instead of loading it through wordpress’s function.php file, so its still broken.
• FINALLY FOUR HOURS LATER: my initial thought that the script was loaded via the wp_footer() – which I removed thinking it was redundant – WAS CORRECT however I copy-pasta’d the wrong code “get_footer()” on my first attempt which.. wasn’t correct and needed to be “wp_footer()”. Cry. Weep. Sadness.
• To make matters worse, I did have “wp_footer()” correctly in one place but that was not the same page I was loading 😅
• Finally working on the CSS for everything else on the site, which was the main intent for todays stream lol.
• Learning about em (pronounced as ‘m’) and rem (not rapid eye movement).

Thanks to the suggestion of yours truly, we sent the koimmunity over to hang out with GreyCatGG! He is doing his first ever playthrough of the entire Devil May Cry series while raising money for UK charity, CatsProtection.
